Hello and welcome!

Since we are all quite new to the forum it would be nice to get to know each other better. So drop a few words here about yourself and why you like Galaxial.

I'll start. I am a big fan of EVE Online (see my avatar) and for some reason when I saw the Galaxial videos I was hooked instantly... there is something about it. I guess that is not a surprise because Stuart named EVE Online and Total Annihilation as inspiration. Really love those games, so Galaxial is definitely something to have an eye on if you like those games.

I am also a former moderator and online community manager and forums have been part of my life since 2006. Hence, if Stuart needs any help to manage this, I'll gladly offer my support should it be needed later on. I asked about a forum for Galaxial and Stuart was quick to react, much appreciated!

Other than that keep up the great work Stuart! Really excited about the game!

Yep, another Eve/Space Game/4x fan here and I've been checking back regularly to see how the game was going!

Basically it looks like the type of game I'd love to make if I had the time/motivation to actually get off my arse and do it!

Can't wait to see more info and eventually buy it when it comes out! Would love to see it on Steam (and I *know* 4x fans will go nuts for it if more people can catch wind of this project!)

I wonder if the developer has considered a kickstarter or something, both to spread word and raise funds.

My original idea for Galaxial started out as a kind of 2D single-player EVE Online, being in control of just a single ship. You can still control a single ship, but the emphasis became much more on empire management and controlling huge fleets of ships as well.

Nice to meet all of you, though I suspect that I would just remain a silent stalker on the forums for the most part, as I have been on the blog.

I'm fully supportive of any game endeavors related to 4X so naturally this game will attract me. Been supporting KS projects like Starbase Orion, M.O.R.E., Predestination, Beyond Beyaan, Worlds of Magic, and I would love to support Galaxial once Stuart gives the green light for purchasable Beta access.

Looking forward to more videos of the game in action once all features have been set in stone.

Hi there!

My name is Lukas and, as all of you I love space games
- There are really few good sandbox space RTS games out there. At least I know of, and I hope this kind of game category will only grow in near future
- My favorite is Sins of Solar empire. The more sandboxy game where you can build your civilization, fleets and battle for new planets. I also like EvE, Elite dangerous (That game looks just gorgeous), X3 series.... with its pure open world building empire mechanics.

Also I`m indie game dev, though mostly working with Unity, but I hope I can learn more from you Stuart!

So yeah xD Really happy about the game, will watch it closely as it develops into new, great RTS all players can play and enjoy epic space battles from RTS management perspective o.O

Another Eve player here. In the bittervet department atm. tough.

I first saw a glimpse of Galaxial back in early 2012 when Stuart posted a tech demo video showing off the base game and I love how far the game has come since then.

I play games like Eve, SC2, Sins and Planetside.

Very happy to see the new forums.

Ok, I will try to be a bit more serious. That means I must start again... Oh my, oh my... This is so troublesome ^^

Hello everybody. Some of You may recognize me from Galaxia blog - I am the one that is usually asking a lot of questions, making some suggestions and generaly writing long posts. As You can see I picked "Modest" as my nick. This is of course not my real name - my true name is Maciej.

I see that we do have here strong Eve representation... I am NOT one of You. I found Galaxia interesting because I simply like space, universe and most of things that are related to them - and that means many PC Games (Homeworld 2, Starsector, Distant Worlds, Sins of Solar Empire, Master of Orion 2, Starbound to call only a few).

But that does not mean I am interested only in Space games - as a matter of fact I am member of Running With Rifles community, and I love also Terraria (anybody interested in starting cooperational game can count me in!)... I totally love old, good Fallout 1 and 2 (and third part was also ok), Civ series and so, and so...

So I would say that I got interested in Galaxia more because it is independent project that seems to have traits liked by me to great extend, rather than because of my personal fixacion on universe.

Uhh... Hmm... Not sure if I should say it, if that is important or not... But I think it kind of is important. If You will find me being kind of strange or anything - I am light aspergeric person (about which I learned not that long time ago - I suspected that from long time, but only recently got that officially comfirmed) so I can see and feel things... Well... Diffriently. But honestly - everybody is unique so I don't think that it is THAT big deal on other hand.

What should I tell about myself? Hmm... How about... I TOTALLY LOVE CATS! ^^ Seriously! Cats are best of the best! And after cats there are only ants. Yea... I love ants too... Am I strange? Propably But at least I am myself

Hello there,

I found Stuart and his game on Indiedb, while I was searching a good RTS I found Galaxial and I liked it. I love RTS videogames, I started with the first Age of Empires with its expansion, Earth 2140 and Metal Knight: Terminate Resistance. Yeah... probably nobody knows last two videogames, but in Italy my father bought them with videogame's magazine.

Actually this is a real poor period for RTS videogame and Galaxial could be a nice RTS!

I played also Eve Online, but not so long, and after: Sins of a Solar Empire, Empire at War, some of Total War's saga and so on.
I really like that this game is a "real" real-time-strategy, like Sins and Empire at War.

I was also a moderator for some years, but I left my role two years ago, with starting university. Ehm... nothing else!

I know english, I understand without problem what you talk about, but it was a very long time that I'm not writing something

So this is it! Thrank out!
