Sorry, that will have to wait until a future log. The economy and resources are being tested and continually improved upon, so there are still a few things that could change with the way it works.

Re: Video: Galaxy Generator and Some Gameplay

I've been folowing the development of this game and I must say i'm quite surprised with what you've done so far, the game looks really great! I'm curious, which algorithms did you use to generate the galaxies? The planets positions are generated randomly, with input parameters to create the differe...

Re: DevLog: March 2017

What's taking so long, anyway? Mainly because I have been working on the game part-time, otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford living costs. Early access (if it does happen) will mean it becomes full time and my only focus. People expect regular updates and progress being made. Once all the featur...

Re: Early Access

Yes, I have recently been looking into the idea of releasing the game for early access. This was going to be my main topic for the end of month development log, so I should have more information and thoughts on this by the end of the week. :thumbup

I could maybe include a short video of the particles in action next time, once I have finished adding the new audio system for them. ;)

Re: Update?

Currently I am busy working on the ship designs/production, and tying that into the new refitting and replacement system. The idea is that ships will be built continuously and can be stockpiled until they are assigned to a squadron/wing/fleet or wherever. Once the player has setup their fleet compos...

Video: Galaxy Generator and Some Gameplay

Hi, sorry for the silence. The workload has been tough... but I have been quietly working hard on Galaxial over the past year. Re: Research

So when you say the lower grades will still be useful, does that mean we can choose between the grades at will depending on the situation? Yes. As you research new ship modules, the older ones can still be used in ship designs and be useful in some way. For example they might be quick and cheap to ...
